Storyline :  In 16th century Italy, on the Adriatic coast, the duchy of Doruzza is governed by a despotic duke, Zulian, and his haughty daughter, Isabella. When they try to commit a gross injutice against one of their subdits, the naval officer Mirko and his daughter Barbara get in their way, and end up persecuted and arrested. The count Cesar de Santacroce, Isabella's fiancee, intercedes for them, and they are set free - only to be arrested again by the treacherous Isabella. Isabella (who felt jealous of Sandra's beauty) dispatches her for slavery in the Middle East. Mirko escapes from his attackers, and manages to get control of the ship, and to free his daughter, who quickly becomes the queen of the Adriatic pirates.  FR. Cerf-volant du bout du monde est un film franco-chinois réalisé par Roger Pigaut en 1958. Il s'agit de la première coproduction franco-chinoise.
Dans les années 1950, à Montmartre, une bande d'enfants avec à sa tête Pierrot, toujours accompagné de sa petite sœur Nicole, découvre un magnifique cerf-volant échoué dans un arbre. Par ruse, Pierrot et ses amis récupèrent le cerf-volant et y découvrent une lettre écrite en chinois.
Grâce à un antiquaire qui leur traduit la lettre, les enfants apprennent qu'un petit garçon chinois, Song Tsiao Tsing, attend une réponse. Hélas, l'adresse est restée dans la queue du cerf-volant volée par Bébert, un ancien de la bande. L'antiquaire leur apprend également que le personnage représenté sur le cerf-volant est Sou Wou Kong, le roi des singes.
Pierrot, au fond de son lit, rêve que ce singe les transporte en Chine, lui et sa sœur, à la recherche de l'auteur de la lettre...
EN. This interesting little French film is set in a run-down suburb of Paris. It's about a group of bored children making mischief to fill the days (eg sticking a cat up a tree and then calling the fire brigade so they can watch them get it down!) One of them has a Chinese kite, with a message on a piece of paper in Chinese on it. His mates try to grab it to sell to an antique shop. One night, one of the boys and his sister are visited by a mysterious Chinaman and are promptly floated off on their bed to China in their pyjamas. The Chinaman clicks his fingers and they appear once again in their everyday clothes, and have all sorts of adventures in China.

 1. Per the film's title, the Ninja masters this time out are adolescents. Disaster reigns supreme when the Prince of Blood invades a Shaolin temple. Most of the adults are killed, and it looks bad for Our Side. But the "little heroes" come through in a manner that would make their elders proud.
2. What a bizarre little film. What the story is really about or who the little kids are is not worth worrying about in this film. It is the amazing acrobatics that should entertain you through this movie. The scene where a drunk kid dances around a table with a bottle is pretty amazing as are the balancing acts.

Käuzchenkuhle. 1969.

 Jampoll, der eigentlich Jean-Paul heißt, verbringt wie jedes Jahr seine Ferien bei den Großeltern. Am Bahnhof begegnet er einem eigenartigen Fremden namens Kohlweis, der ihn auf dem Fahrrad mit ins Dorf nimmt und seinem Großvater Grüße ausrichten läßt. Als der Junge dem Großvater davon erzählt, ist dieser ganz aufgebracht. Auch sonst benimmt sich Großvater Kalmus diesen Sommer ganz anders. Oft zieht er sich bedrückt in seine Kammer zurück, schreibt irgendetwas wichtiges auf. Ein anderes Mal läuft er unruhig umher und hält dabei eine Fuchsfellmütze in der Hand, die dem stummen Gotthold gehörte, der einst auf mysteriöse Weise in der Käuzchenkuhle ums Leben kam. Zusammen mit seinen Freunden versucht Jampoll, den Grund für dieses rätselhafte Verhalten herauszufinden. Anscheinend ist es der Fremde vom Bahnhof, dessen Ankunft im Ort vor einigen Monaten den Großvater in Angst und Schrecken versetzt. Die Freunde beobachten Kohlweis nun auf Schritt und Tritt. So bemerken sie, dass er im Mummelsee nach etwas sucht und sich auch sonst auffällig geheimnisvoll benimmt. Ganz krank vor Sorgen berichtet der Großvater Jampoll, was sich 1945 am Mummelsee zugetragen hat. Damals zwang der SS-Offizier Kohlweis den Großvater und dessen Freund, den stummen Gotthold, eine Tonne mit geraubten Kunstschätzen im See zu versenken. Nur knapp entkamen die beiden dem Tode. Kurze Zeit nach dieser Erzählung wird der Großvater ins Krankenhaus gebracht und Großmutter Kalmus fährt mit. Die Jungen, die ihre Entdeckungen bereits dem Abschnittsbevollmächtigten mitgeteilt hatten, verfolgen weiter das Geschehen. Nun allein im Haus sucht Jampoll nach den Aufzeichnungen und findet diese auch. Beim Lesen erfährt er, dass später der Großvater mit Gotthold zum See zurückkehrte, um das versenkte Gut zu bergen. Anschließend lagerten sie die Sachen auf dem Grund der Käuzchenkuhle. Dabei ertrank der stumme Gotthold, nur seine Mütze blieb zurück. Der Großvater schrieb sich die Schuld an dem Unfall zu und jetzt nach all den Jahren kehrte mit Kohlweis die Erinnerung an die schrecklichen Ereignisse wieder. Die Kriminalpolizei, die auch über die Vorgänge informiert ist, stellt Kohlweis eine Falle. Man läßt ihn die Aufzeichnungen des Großvaters finden, damit er weiß, wo die gesuchten Schätze jetzt versteckt sind. Als Kohlweis mit einem Komplizen die Tonne bergen will, kann die Polizei dieses Vorhaben vereiteln.

De fyra barnen lovar varandra att lita på och aldrig svika varandra; detta sätts på prövning då det konstant kommer upp saker som svek och brist på tillit. Barnen blir efter kort efterlysta och jagade av polisen och försöker fly för att slippa återvända. Efter en tid på flykten bestämmer sig barnen för att leta efter Torstens mormors sommarhus, Solbacken, där de kan stanna utan att bli funna.
