Two yutes find themselves in deep trouble while traveling through sweet home Alabama. Enter Vinny, an inexperienced lawyer and cousin to one of the yutes. He arrives to save the day, along with a little help from his tough-as-nails girlfriend, in this delightful fish-out-of-water comedy. The film appealed ;-) to both audiences and critics. Marisa Tomei gives the performance of her career and her Oscar for Best Supporting Actress is evidence ;-) of that, making that long-standing rumor simply heresay ;-). And as an added bonus, many people added positraction to their vocabulary thanks to the film.
